# Architecture
The Unified Plugin presents the following architecture:
The Unified Plugin is integrated into an video streaming application, and it hooks into the video player via an adapter.
Once integrated, the Unified Plugin communicates with the Codavel Panel. It also receives data regarding the CDN Balancer configuration and send data regarding all metrics collected, regarding the video behaviour and regarding the user experience.
